BELONIA, Dec 2 (TIWN): Trail run of Safety BG Train will be on 2nd Dec. A train from Lumding already reached Agartala along with Railway Officials.

The work progress shows that the South Tripura will be soon connected with BG railway service.  And it is seen that workers are giving their best effort for completing the work in the given time.

Indian Railways connectivity in India’s north eastern region will get boost with the launch of the first ever broad gauge goods trains to the landlocked state.

The latest trend of work at Belonia railway station shows that days are not so far when people of Tripura can travel long distances in BG trains and get connected to rest of the part of the country.

The NFR is putting in all possible steps which is already completed the BG conversion work from Karimganj to Udaipur via Agartala on time even as the task is not that easy. Construction of platform work is going on in full-swing at Belonia railway station.

Days are not so far when Belonia will be connected with the map of Broad-gauge railway network system.

The successful run of the trains on the broad-gauge track will bring sync with those in the rest of the country and Tripura is gearing up for faster connectivity and communication with several parts of the nation. In order to make the Belonia railway Station as perfect station, different works including extension of platforms, creation of new platforms and installation of new BG rail tracks have been started.
