AGARTALA, Nov 23 (TIWN): A three days long Tripura Assembly has been started on Friday.
Various questions were raised by the opposition CPI-M MLAs in the Assembly. One of the questions was whether the Govt has any plan to develop the Dairy Industries in Tripura or not. Question was pinched about the quality of the milk production.
It was also asked what step has Govt taken to upgrade the animal husbandry of the state.
How many OBC students were benefited through ‘technical education’, why minority students were not given stipends in the year etc had also been asked.
Few bills were also placed / introduced in the Assembly as :
1) Tripura Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Reservation (3rd amendment) Bill-2018 will be introduced,
2) Tripura Cooperative Societies (Fourth amendment) Bill 2018,
3) Tripura Urban Planning and Development Bill 2018,
4) Criminal Law (Tripura Amendment Bill 2018),
5) Tripura Shops & Establishment (Fourth Amendment) Bill 2018,
6) Introduction of Adhaar (targeted delivery of Benefits) Bill 2018,
7) Tripura State Goods & Service Tax (Amendment) Bill 2018,
8) Introduction of Tripura Road Development Cess Bill 2018,
9) Introduction of Tripura Excise (3rd amendment), Bill 2018.
