AGARTALA, Nov 20 (TIWN): With a major breakthrough two brown sugar smugglers were arrested from Bhattapukur area by AD Nagar police on Tuesday.

Two of the arrested smugglers have been identified as : 1) Rahul Chakraborty and 2) Sumit Bhattacharjee, resident of Vivekananda Club in Agartala, whereas Rahul lives at Camper Bazar area.

Getting informed by secret sources AD Nagar Police today have arrested them from Bhattapukur area. Both of them have been involved in brown sugar business since many days but today police have arrested them and also to be produced before the court. 

The brown sugar business has increased in the state targeting even the teenagers. It was on November 12 that police spotted two teen-aged brown sugar smugglers at Agartala.
