AGARTALA, Oct 18 (TIWN): The Buddhist community ended their yearly Kathin-Civar offering ceremony in Buddho Mandir at Kunjaban.
This was their 42 offering ceremony. The ceremony is auspicious to mean that how much you donate, but can not equal to a civar.
This ceremony marks the end of Buddhist lent and is being celebrated at Wat Tampa.
They have a rituals that during Lent monks could not travel.
The monks stayed overnight in the same temple for three months. They celebrate this ceremony to returns Buddho in Earth.
