AGARTALA, Nov 16 (TIWN): Tripura Health Minister Sudip Barman on Friday while attending a blood donation camp at Agartala said that state's blood banks are undergoing acute blood crisis situations.
A blood donation camp was held at Sakhicharan School, inaugurated by Sudip Barman. MLA Asish Saha was also present on that occasion.
"A gap emerged since the last month in the blood collection, but hope we will overcome the crisis situation. But, blood donation camps have started in full wave again as on yesterday a blood donation camp was organized at Ramthakur College whereas today in Sakhicharan School we are having this camp and again tomorrow at Swasti Market there will be a blood donation camp again. We are trying to gear up again and hoping the blood crisis will be ended shortly", Sudip Barman told media.
"I urge common men to come forward in voluntary blood donation camps. Tripura should mark with 100% voluntary blood donation rate", he added.
