AGARTALA, Nov 15 (TIWN): TRIPURA STATE RIFLES, 7TH BN JAMPUIJALA has organised a Mega blood donation camp and Civic Action programme in its HQr today on 15.11.2018 as part of Prayaas programme.

Total 92 jawans and officers of the unit donated blood and distributed 50 blankets among poor villagers of their outlaying posts.

G.S. Rao, IPS IGP(TSR) Tripura has inaugurated the programme, Rati Ranjan Debnath, IPS, CO 12th Bn TSR and Shri L. Darlong, TPS Gr-I, CO10th Bn TSR were also present in the programme.

Commandant Shri Prabir Majumdar, IPS said this unit has donated 2092 units of blood yet from its raising beside this they have also organised so many health camps, Swatchya Bharat Abhiyan in their AOR as a regular activity for development of the society.

IGP (TSR) G.S. Rao, IPS thanked all unit members for their contribution in law and order/ operational duties as well as other social works the programme was ended with a good appreciation.
