AGARTALA, Nov 15 (TIWN): Various Baul singers from Bangladesh to perform at Rabindra Bhawan in Agartala on November 18.

Baul or Bauls are a group of mystic minstrels from Bengal region of the South Asia, which includes Bangladesh and the Indian states of West Bengal and Tripura. Bauls constitute both a syncretic religious sect and a musical tradition.

Bangladesh Assistant High Commissioner Sakhaowat Hossain has announced, various singers from Bangladesh and poets will remain present to perform on the occasion, further inviting Tripura's people to join the programme.
