Agartala, September 27 (TIWN): Salary for the month of September would be given to state government employees on Saturday in advance, Finance Secretary Ashutosh Jindal said.
Interacting with the media here on Friday evening, the official said that salary would be released alongwith ex-gratia at the rate of Rs. 700 for employees from all grades.
The government earlier released festival advance for all employees including Group-C, Group-D and DRW employees.
Employees of the state, in the meanwhile, have demanded central pay scale and DA at par with central government employees. Tripura’s ruling Left Front government currently allows 43 percent DA less to the government employees and DR for pensioners compared to the central government awards.
The state had an unspent amount of Rs 1575.62 crores in 2012-2013; the figures are apprehended to be higher in 2013-2014.
