AGARTALA, Nov 2 (TIWN): Governor Kaptan Singh Solanki has visited Old Governor House on Friday.
Right now, Govt has not decided yet what to do with this old Governor House. Thus from renovation to development, all possible things have been measured during Governor's visit.
On April 18, the Governor House of Tripura was shifted as the then Governor Tathagata Roy and the First Lady Anuradha Roy had entered the new Governor house near Secretariat on the occasion of Akshay Tritiya.
Now, the old white-coloured beautifully decorated Governor House which was made in 1917 has been visited by the new Governor.
The previous Raj Bhavan was built in 1917, and was known as the Pushbanta Palace prior to India's Independence. The previous Raj Bhavan edifice is intended to become a museum and research center in honor of King of Tripura, Maharaja Birendra Kishore Manikya.
