AGARTALA, Oct 27 (TIWN): CPI-M has reviewed the state condition of last two months in its state committee meeting. Overall political condition of the state was discussed and also central committee decisions were told the state committee.
96% uncontested seats winning by BJP were discussed along with Durga puja’s dry economic condition and statewide crisis.
CPI-M also remembered its ex-leaders who became political victims and died.
“From morning to afternoon CPI-M has held a meeting, At the very beginning we remembered Anima Das whose husband attended CPIM meeting and as a result their house were burnt and to save her husband she was also heavily injured. Then after she recovered, BJP activists threatened her to join BJP. As a result she went to school on that day with her son and in accident she died. We remembered martyr Anima Das”, Bijan Dhar said.
“Telimaura party leader Jiten Das, Khowai farmer movement leader Lalit Sabar, Mohonpur leader Parbati Munda, Paikhola Farmers movement leader Ramsure Jamatia—for these martyrs, we paid trinute”.
“Central University ex-register Dr Dipak Choudhury, party leader Kamal Majumder and Padma Bibhushan awarded Annapurna Devi, they were remembered”.
CPI-M remembered Amrisarh train accident victims and Kerala flood victims.
