AGARTALA, Oct 27 (TIWN): Opposition CPI-M has alleged that the last Durga Puja festival was saffronized under BJP Govt.

Addressing media, CPI-M State Secretary Bijan Dhar said such Durga puja and politicalization of festival was never seen in Tripura.

“The way traffic jam in the name of Bisharjan was done was not at all seen in the state”.

The party leader also criticized the lawless condition of the State under BJP Govt.

“Total 15 murders, 11 unnatural deaths took place in Tripura. 11 are women out of them. The way murders have increased, rapes, crime against women increased, chanda-collection harassment went beyond limits”, Bijan Dhar said.
