AGARTALA, Oct 26 (TIWN): One laptop thief arrested by West Agartala Police on Friday.
The thief has been identified as Manab Debnath. Talking to media OC of West Agartala Police Station Subrata Chakraborty, he said, "From a govt quarter at Melarmath gold, cash rupees one laptop were looted. Police lodged the FIR and started investigation. Manab Debnath was also involved in many theft cases earlier. Various items were recovered, rest items are trying to be recovered".
The family members said, this theft took place during Durga Puja night, when they visited Belonia at their own home. Laptop, gold, 7,000 cash were taken, but the laptop was very urgent need of the family among the all looted items.
The theft Manab Debnath was arrested from Battala. Cash and gold Jewellery yet be recovered whereas the laptop has been found.
