AGARTALA, Oct 25 (TIWN): Chief Minister Biplab Deb, Tourism Minister Pranajit Singha Roy, Revenue Minister NC Debbarma have kicked off a meeting for Diwali preparation at Udaipur Matabari.

Top Police officials, Secretaries, Gomati District Administration officials joined the meeting. Gomati district SP A R Reddy was also present whereas DGP A K Shukla took the notes of the preparations. During the meeting it was accepted that this year the number of travelers in Diwali may increase. However, enough number of CCTV cameras will be provided this year.

Last year the crowed had surpassed 3 lakhs.Security will be tightened further keeping the election ahead and to avoid any untoward incident during Diwali more number of police officials to be deployed at there.
