AGARTALA, Oct 25 (TIWN): Security has been tightened in Tripura centering the festival season, whereas 800 Jawans of Tripura State Rifles have left from here.
They will join the election duty at Chattishgarh. Right now in a huge area section 144 is continuing following by a communal fighting. In this situation the jawans absence has triggered tension.
Elections to the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly are scheduled to be held in the Two Phases. First Phase for 18 Seats in South Chhattisgarh on 12th November and Second for remaining 72 seats of North Chhattisgarh on 20th November. Combining a total of 90 Constituencies.
It can be recalled here, 29 troopers of Tripura State Rifles (TSR) bound for poll-related duties in Chhatisgarh have been injured after their bus fell into a deep gorge on Monday night. The bus rolled down into an approximately 250 feet deep gorge at the Baramura hill ranges in Tripura while negotiating a sharp turn.
