SABROOM / AGARTALA, Oct 24 (TIWN): Hooligan behavior of BJP leaders and activists, revenge politics was displayed again after BJP goons locked a Library after CPI-M MP Jitendra Choudhury visited one self-funded library recently at the South District.
With a shocking note, it has been known that MP Jitendra Chaudhury funded library was locked by local BJP goons in the Satchand Samaj Shiksha Kendra under Sabroom subdivision.
On 19th October MP had visited the library when few BJP activists, leaders and local club members were also present, but as soon as the MP left, the BJP activists came on the spot and demanded the keys and locks of the library from the officials.
The BJP activists alleged, MP Jitendra Chaudhury held a meeting in the library which is party oriented. But the allegation was rubbished by library officials and didn't give them the keys and locks.
Then, the BJP activists themselves arranged keys and locks and locked the library. This incident has created much tension and resentment among the local people.
