AGARTALA, Oct 24 (TIWN): Chief Minister Biplab Deb while addressing at Udaipur subdivision on Rice Day in the presence Agriculture officials and Gomati District officers assured the farmers that FCI will directly buy the products and in this way it will go to directly to PM Modi, not to anyone else. CM said this in sysmbolic meaning however.
"Earlier you had to wait for the customer and when your sought your money it was delayed, but now FCI will directly buy from you by giving you huge profit", CM said.
CM also said that PM Modi is trying to reach out the last man of the row and farmers are the first priority of him. He added that Mann-ki-Baat is the way through which the Chief person of the country can reach out the farmers.
The Chief Minister further blasted the previous CPI-M Govt accusing it for destroying economy and farming culture.
CM said that within 2022 farmers' income will be double undoubtedly.
