AGARTALA, Oct 23 (TIWN): At least 68 kilo of dry ganja were seized by West Agartala Police on Tuesday.

SDPO Suman Majumder informed that from Airport Police Station we were told that in Roy Para under Ramnagar Outpost, huge numbers of ganja packets have been kept.

As this area belong to West Agartala PS, so OCof the police station - Subrata Chakraborty along with SDPO Suman Majumder, NCC, East Agartala PS officials jointly held the raid here. After raiding, 10 packets of dry ganja of 68 kg (cannabis) were seized.

SDPO also said, on yesterday during an investigation in Panisagar PS in a similar case one name came out and the ganja packets have been found near to the suspected person Rasaraj Debnath's home. Rasaraj Debnath is now under Panisagar Police's rudder.

Rasaraj Debnath is now absconding and his family members were also not found in the house. Police is investigating the case.
