AGARTALA / MELAGHAR, Oct 23 (TIWN): Various highways in Tripura have left in deplorable shape due to total negligence of the State Govt leading day to day increasing accidents in state.

When Tripura's main routes are left in pathetic shape, PWD is in total slumber. 

Melaghar to Bisramganj 22 kilometer roadway is now in pathetic shape and since 7 months no maintenance has been done in that route.

Across Melaghar 3 main roadway are in pathetic shape, said survey. 

Even though the tax on fuel has been increased before two months by cabinet meeting saying that charge will be used for roadways development, but no fund has been utilized by taxing fuel.

Melaghar to Kakrabon, Kakrabon to Udaipur, Udaipur to Bisramganj--- these three routes are in worse shape full of holes throughout the journey. 

Recently Chief Minister Biplab Deb said that PWD has no fund right now and there is no work done on road since the Govt changed.
