AGARTALA, Oct 22 (TIWN): One garment shop "Niyati Textiles" has been looted two times in last three days at capital city Agartala, fueled much resentment among the locals.
The incident took place at College Tilla area, under East Police Station. The first theft incident had taken place on Dashami night (October 19), but the owner Debabrata Roy didn't complained to police about that, rather he told the issue to the club members.
On yesterday night once again thieves entered his shop and taken away huge garment stocks causing lakhs of losses to the businessmen. Local people have also expressed resentment on police role.
Getting informed East Police Station team rushed to the spot and registered the complaint after observation.
The College Tilla area is majorly suffering due to thieves attacks and bike thieves numbers have also increased heavily in last few months.
