AGARTALA, Oct 22 (TIWN): CITU, CPI-M's trade union section wants to well-timed and advance with the modern era, understanding the demands of the age.

But when CITU wants to develop with the age's demand, the leaders are as same as before like Manik Dey, Shankar Prasad Datta and others.

Under Manik Dey Jute Mill like Govt run industries turned CITU Office and unruliness of auto and other vehicle drivers also increased, which has been continuing till day. Even after Govt bought many buses for TRTC but the service was paralyzed under his Transport Ministry.

Moreover, there is no new dynamic figure to lead the party wing. As a result modernization of CITU and developing policies have remained just for namesake according Central CITU's instruction, but the long ruling leaders are unwilling to give chances to new faces even after public dumped Manik Dey like leader.
