AGARTALA, Oct 21 (TIWN): Across Tripura massive celebration centering the Dashami Yatra are going on as club members and along with their local people are jointly celebrating this occasion like every year.

Huge numbers of security persons were provided during the Dashami Yatra to avoid any untoward incident. With each club police were provided by fixing time-limitation for all clubs for the processing. 

Public regardless men, women have been celebrating Dashami Yatra which will finally mark the ending of this year's Durga Puja celebration. 

With loudspeaker, huge noise, the Dashami Yatra continued towards Dashami Ghats across the state while public danced, whistled, burnt fire crackers as a part of celebration.

Even though according to ritual Devi Goddess left earth with "Bijoya Dashami" on Oct 19, but maximum clubs are doing this ritual today followed by cultural programmes till last night. 

NDRF, Disaster Management officials took the whole charge of Dashami procession in the rivers as often common men, sometimes drunk victimized with life in this Dashami procession.

Various rivers as Howrah in Agartala, Gomati in Udaipur, Amarpur are marked as "Dashami Ghats".
