AGARTALA, Oct 20 (TIWN): A marathon was dedicated for the martyrs of Tripura rooted BSF on Saturday. The marathon was organized at Swami Vivekananda Stadium.

Addressing on the occasion Chief Minister Biplab Deb said, "4000 martyrs have dedicated their lives for the nation. Among them 400 are BSF and 20 from Tripura, which means Tripura is the land of brave. We will not bow our heads before anyone".

CM also honoured the parents of the martyrs as they gave birth to brave sons. He also thanked BSF for taking active role to curb the drug smuggling, business, addiction tendency in Tripura. 

A good number of participants joined the marathon.
