AGARTALA, Oct 18 (TIWN): Ahead of Dasami, Hilsa Price has spiked at Rs. 1000 / 1500 in Tripura.
In Tripura Hilsas were sold even at Rs. 300/- and at West Bengal it downed at Rs. 200/- but when it comes about Dasami time, it’s the high time for business as Bengali foodies have no other option in their minds apart from Hilsa or Pabda fish.
However, the Hilsa fish price has been remained between Rs. 800 to Rs. 1500 in Tripura on Dasami. After 3 days of Vegetable foods on Saptami, Astami and Nabmi public have rushed to meat / fish markets on the occasion of Dasami.
At Agartala’s Battala meat market the price went high on the occasion of Dasami, whereas across the state the situation of meat markets were more or less same.
