AGARTALA, Oct 17 (TIWN): Chief Minister Biplab Deb while addressing in a Durga puja celebration gathering on Astami laid importance of reducing crime against women in society.

Biplab Deb said that with addiction-free society’s formation, crime against women will be down.

“I don’t believe in any data and record, but unless and until we are able to make an addiction free society, till then crime against women will not end”, CM said.

Our Govt since the beginning had challenged to diminish all kinds of drug-hubs and illegal selling of various items as phensedyl, corex etc. The Govt has also aimed to end the cross border smuggling

“The day Tripura will become addiction-free, Crime against women will automatically down”, CM added.
