AGARTALA / MELAGHAR, Oct 15 (TIWN): India's funniest Chief Minister Biplab Deb who is popular for his gaffes has slammed his rival Ex-Chief Minister Manik Sarkar claiming Manik Sarkar always thought himself as a poor man but could not think like him (Biplab Deb) resulting massive poverty in state.

"Like Manik Sarkar, I also have two eyes but the way I could see my Tripura in 7 months, Manik Sarkar could not in last 20 years of his Chief Ministry", CM said while addressing in a Durga pandal inauguration programme at Melaghar.

Addressing the audience Biplab Deb said, "Among you many are here, who are only watching things but few are also here, who are observing guests sitting on dais and thinking what's going on in the mind of the guests sitting on the dais".

Biplab Deb also claimed that due to Manik Sarkar's foolishness ONGC is skipping 100 crores taxes and Govt facing losses, adding, "Why Manik Sarkar could not think like me ?"

"The vehicle Manik Sarkar used, I also use it. The home he resided I also live there", CM said.

"My mentality is rich and so I want to develop my state. His mentality was poor and so his state was poor. Manik Sarkar also has two eyes but could not see from deep like me", Biplab Deb told the mass.
