AGARTALA, Oct 11 (TIWN): Tripura ruling BJP MLA Arun Bhoumik's daughter Anindita Bhoumik has came in protest against the forceful 'chanda' (donation) extortion from the public by Agartala local clubs.

The issue was raised, when after being threatened, harassed by club members of "Nakshatra Club" asked her to give contribution for upcoming Durga puja.

When she denied and also remind them that they do not belong to this area, they almost attacked her physically, used slang language in her chamber before public and also threatened her, but when she visited Agartala West PS, police denied to file any complaint and further asked her to come in mutual understanding. 

A video has been viral when her father MLA Arun Chandra Bhoumik rushed to the police station and scolding her for calling media, but going against her father Anindita has raised the issue boldly before media and sought Govt's attention to such issues.
