‘Promise & Action of BJP Govt differed on 7th CPC’ : MP Jiten

AGARTALA, Oct 10 (TIWN): CPI-M MP Jitendra Choudhury at the initial reaction to the employees, pensioners pay-hikes said, what BJP had promised earlier is not acting accordingly.
Talking to TIWN over phone, Choudhury mentioned, “At the primary observation, it’s clear that the Govt has not acted what was expected about employees salary hikes”.
“Indeed according to promises, nothing happened”, the MP said.
Another CPI-M leader, Ex-Education Minister Tapan Chakraborty in a different discussion said, “9% DA is still pending whereas they promised to give the effect from 2016 but now the effect has been given from October 2018. Moreover, according to 7th Pay Commission nothing was announced”.
