AGARTALA, Oct 9 (TIWN): Empowered by young Ministers in BJP-IPFT State Cabinet in Tripura, various Centre projects have been kicked off with fresh moves.

A cleanliness drive under 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan' was held at Bijoy Kumar School in the capital city led by Social Welfare Minister Santana Chakma. Huge numbers students participated in the campaigning along with College students. 

Swachh Bharat has been kicked off in full wave across the country as 2019 is the deadline of making India 'clean' under PM Modi's Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.

Swachh Bharat Abhiyan or Swachh Bharat Mission is a nation-wide campaign in India for the period 2014 to 2019 that aims to clean up the streets, roads and infrastructure of India's cities, towns, and rural areas. The campaign's official name is in Hindi and translates to 'Clean India Mission' in English.
