AGARTALA, September 23 (TIWN): In its serial reporting on the Arnab issue, involving the fund misallocation of Rashtriya Madhyamik Siksha Abhiyan (RMSA), the TIWN had raised the issue of involvement of more wrongdoers in the scam involving crores of rupees of central sponsored fund. During the investigation, to locate the embezzled fund, the Police have marked out the involvement of more three persons and they are – Arnab’s wife Sangita Chakraborty, Rajib Dasgupta of Narayanpur and Sidhai’s Binay Das.

 The RMSA scam, in this regard, looks like a superset where number of subsets is reported to be involved. More scams and irregularities have been found out by the Police, during the course of investigation. The engineering cell of the RMSA (at the initiative of Executive Engineer Barun Deb) is involved in number of construction works, without inviting any tender. Furthermore, violation of guidelines and rules has also been made in the name of imparting of coaching. And the same amounts to Rs. four lakh.  

Meanwhile, the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) given deputation to both the Chief Secretary and Director General of Police  (DGP) demanding actions to corner the accused ones, in the Bishalgargh RD block scam case. Now it is to look, the involvement of the top administrative functionaries yields what and what not.
