AGARTALA, Oct 4 (TIWN): Central Road Yuva Sangstha has been geared up for the upcoming Durga puja with Rs. 28 lakhs budget this year.
Puja Committee Secretary Sujit Deb told media, this year we have not increased the budget and last year also it was Rs. 28 lakhs.
This year their theme is the largest Buddhist temple of Bhutan, whereas the lighting will also remain attractive. Four gates will be built.
Various cultural progarmmes, art competition, blood donation camps are being organized. On October-13 the puja pandal will be inaugurated, two days ahead of Durga puja (Oct 15).
Being asked the reason for coshing Buddha temple for pandal decoration, club members told media, "Buddha is the symbol of peace. We want to give the message of peace to the state people".
