AGARTALA, Oct 3 (TIWN): Chatrabandhu club is preparing Durga puja pandal in Bengal's 'Dakshineswar Kali Temple' model at the budget Rs. 35 lakhs.
Puja Committee Secretary of Chatrabandhu Club, Shyamal Saha said, "We are imitating Dakshineswar Kali Temple. Since two months artists of Nabadwip are working day night working to shape the pandal. Lighting has also been organized by Dipu Decorators, from Nabadwip".
The artists making the idol is however from Agartala, claimed will be as it is as Dakshineswar Kali Temple. For long four days the club will distribute 'prasad' (food) to people. Inauguration of the puja will be on October 13.
The Club Secretary also said that as rural people in Tripura hardly can visit in Dakshineswar Kali Temple like places and thus this padal is particularly dedicated for them.
This year four days long Durga puja will start from October 15.
