AGARTALA, Oct 1 (TIWN): Tripura Health Minister Sudip Barman on Monday has shared dais with Ex-Chief Minister of Tripura Manik Sarkar and honoured Sarkar for his heavy efforts, contribution to influence the youths of Tripura towards massive blood donation campaigning. A programme was conducted at Rabindra Bhawan on Monday to mark 'National Voluntary Blood Donation Day' and Sudip Barman had invited the Ex-CM for whom, earlier he already voiced for award on the ground of Tripura's record level blood donation campaigning. Barman also dedicated a song to encourage people for blood donation on that occasion and called people to come forward to make this blood donation rate at 100 % success from the current 95 % rate. Addressing on the occasion, Sudip Barman said, "Blood donation is the way to show love towards the humanity. I urge to all to come forward and to carry the mission to fulfill our aim for 100% blood donation record".
On June 14, Sudip Barman on World Blood Donor Day has credited Ex-Chief Minister Manik Sarkar for his successful drive with blood donation camps in Tripura. Sudip Barman was addressing at Rabindra Bhawan, said, "Encouraging people for blood donation voluntarily has been a great effort made by Manik Sarkar and I thank him for that. Good works shall always be remembered and applauded.The blood donation high percentage’s momentum was picked up before few years and standing on this stage I am remembering our Ex-Chief Minister Manik Sarkar for bringing revolution with the young generation and pushing them voluntarily donate blood".
“His good works should be continuous process and, I have courage to take Manik Sarkar’s name and honoured to dedicate his name in this official occasion who brought revolution in Tripura and motivated the state’s youths to participate in blood donation camps voluntarily", said Barman on that day.
Today the Health Minister has honoured Manik Sarkar face to face.
(National Voluntary Blood Donation Day is getting celebrated in India at 1st of October every year to share the need and importance of the blood in the life of an individual.
