Agartala, Sep 22 (TIWN): Altogether 12 job aspirants who have joined pre recruitment rallies conducted by Assam Rifles have finally selected for joining the Army at Teliamura.

Of the total 12 selected candidates, four each from 45-Battalion and 8-Battalion of Assam Rifles while three from 38-Battalion Assam Rifles. After selection of candidates for pre recruitment rallies, all the job aspirants were taken to Machimpur (Silchar) for rigorous training and this has finally paid off.

Here it may be noted that the Assam Rifles has been conducting pre-recruitment rallies so that youth from the state could enter in the Army and other Para-military forces.
