AGARTALA, Sep 28 (TIWN): Chemists and Druggists Association has come in massive protest at Agartal RMS Chowmuhani with two demands.
A 6 hours demonstration was staged on Friday with these two demands.
The Association members' demands are :
1) Pharmacists must get registration through experience,
2) To stop online medicine service which was permitted by central govt through a notification on 28th August.
The agitators claimed that online medicine business will kill their business and also will cause drug addiction chances high.
However from the public view, the online system has helped the consumers in their busy schedule of life and also helped old people to get rid of roaming from shop to shop to buy medicine.
In Agartala also, online medicine is becoming popular, but as it's hitting the local businessmen to some extent so the protest was staged.
