AGARTALA, Sep 27 (TIWN): At least 1222 teachers who are already TET qualified and were served with offer letters in July month will get postings before Durga Puja.
Addressing a press conference at Secretariat, Tripura Law Minister cum Education Minister Ratan lal Nath said, "Before Durga Puja the teachers will get their postings and offer letters were already distributed in this regard. After Durga Puja they will be recruited and can join in their respective schools".
Out of 1222 teachers 1088 are GT and 134 are PGT.
"Even though the process started earlier (under previous Govt) but this move will help to minimize teachers crisis and also will help to reduce unemployment", Ratan lal Nath told media.
Due to teachers shortage, Education Minister also ruled out, teachers have to take 25 classes at least per week and adopt (special care) 20 students of their schools so that all students get proper education and teachers' attentions.
