RANIRBAZAR, Sep 23 (TIWN): Mithun Chakraborty who was forced to rub his nose on road in a bazaar in the last week, left without Chief Minister Biplab Deb and his Home Dept’s attention.
Such incidents were never seen in Tripura, but after 6 months of BJP Govt in Tripura, not only democracy is under threat but also so called fourth pillar of democracy are bound to involve in unlawful activities and recently Agartala Press Club occupying incident has cited example nationwide.
About Ranir Bazar victim Mithun Chakraborty, locals said that he was targeted with political intentions by BJP activists at there.A video has been viral where the goons are forcing him to rub the nose on road for many times and crawl further.
The incident took place when people at there were celebrating Ganesh puja, but instead of taking strict action, BJP has continued to promote such mob-violence statewide.
