AGARTALA, September 21 (TIWN): All Tripura Book Sellers and Publishers Association (ATBSPA) organized their 37th general meeting at Maharani Tulsi Bati higher secondary school here this afternoon.
Speaking in the meeting general secretary of All Tripura Book Sellers and Publishers Association Uttam Chakraborty said that we are holding this meeting regarding our six point charter demands. The state government is not taking any proper steps regarding our six point charter demands. If the government does not take any proper steps regarding our demands we will go for further demonstration, he added.
He further said that the government change the syllabus of the schools without giving any information to us. Due to the sudden change of the syllabus we have to go throw by a huge problem and we does not get proper time to publish the books according to the syllabus. So we demand to the state government that they must provide information regarding the new syllabus and also provide more time to publish the books, he mentioned.
