Jolt for ruling BJP, as opposition's Strike successful

AGARTALA, Sep 10 (TIWN): A major jolt for 6 months old BJP Govt as Congress called strike turned a success, which is the first strike led by the oppositions after BJP's poll victory on March 3rd.
Centering the fuel price hike, the strike was massively supported by vehicle drivers left Nagerjala like major bus stands paralyzed amid BMS, BJP controlled motorstand culture of the city.
At the same time, the strike resulted in distress for the poor people as work opportunity of the day was killed due to the 12 hours strike.
Heavy security blankets have been covered across Railway Stations, Bus Stand, Office areas.
Protesting against the constant fuel price hike, Congress is observing 12 hours strike on Monday. All Left Parties also have called 'hartal' to protest against fuel price hike and up of all commodity prices.
However, Govt has warned all employees not to 'skip' offices to avoid actions.
