AGARTALA, Aug 29 (TIWN): Price hike, down business, unemployment hit people of Tripura in last 5 months of the BJP Govt. Unemployment which has been a burning issue since the previous govt's time, is taking worse shape with the ongoing terminations and cancellation of recruitment process. In rural, ADC areas lack of basis MGNREGA works gripped the locals at there leading poor tribal people to cross Indian border in search of livelihood in neighboring Bangladesh. Not even 6 months have passed, that Tripura's people have started hunger strike. Since yesterday terminated Fores Dept employees have sat in hunger strike, but there is no attempt by the Biplab Deb's Govt to solve the problem. Rather CM has been continued his gaffes and nation is mocking the whole state with his latest joke claiming, ducks also increases oxygen in water bodies.
Except hardcore BJP supporting youths, general youths have become frustrated with the Govt and Tripura's fate is so bad that at the 5th month of the govt youths are knocking High Court !
The TCS job aspirants who were already suffering due to slow recruitment and various ongoing HC/ SC cases sat for an interview according to High Court's order January 20 , 2018.
They studied, toiled a lot for the preparations, invested hefty money for coaching and transport, but still TPSC is unable to publish the result of the main exam and now govt is saying that TPSC will recruit 30 TCS and 10 TPS in the year 2018 - 19 but nobody is talking about the TCS recruitment which was concluded in January 2018. On yesterday with another Jumla Strike BJP-IPFT Govt has announced that TPSC will have to cancel the jobs.
Even though TPSC is an autonomous body but now TPSC is also silent regarding the proceeding of recruitment process, fueled much tension and frustration among the job aspirants as it has been around a year, TPSC is sitting without almost Nil-recruitment and the BJP-IPFT govt in a cunning way was silent for 5 months and one day it cancelled all recruitment and after cancelling they are busy various felicitation programmes and visiting various places of India and outside India.
The victims of the govt decision will move to High Court if TPSC cancels their exams.
