AGARTALA, Aug 24 (TIWN): Once again allegations have come that Tripura tribals are bound to cross the border to collect various items from there and to sell them here in Tripura.
MP Jitendra Chaudhury has met such villagers of Khelachara Bazar of Longtarai, where the villagers have accepted the fact.
They also alleged that since 8 months there is no proper work in the village areas under MGNREGA and after the election also no work was given.
They talked about their problems and sufferings to the MP and sought help.
Tripura under the BJP Govt is has downed at 22nd position from 1st position in MGNREGA mandays distribution leading massive suffering for the poor villagers.
