'Public responses are beyond expectation in Kerala-flood relief collection' : CPI-M

AGARTALA, Aug 23 (TIWN): CPI-M which is raising funds for Kerala flood victims is happy over the responses they are getting from the common people.
Bijan Dhar said, "The response from public is huge. On the day 1, we have collected around Rs.50,000. People are coming forward to help. This was never seen before".
Reacting over the Govt led Rs. 1 cr announcement for Kerala flood, Dhar said, "We'll not make any comment on this whether the amount was okay or it could be raised more, but we also demanded for it. Whatever has been given, it's a good initiative".
CPI-M Tripura unit had started donation collection from August 21st and it will be continued till August 31st.
