AGARTALA, Aug 22 (TIWN): Eid al-Adha, also called the "Festival of Sacrifice", is the second of two Islamic holidays celebrated worldwide each year, and considered the holier of the two, has been celebrated by the Muslim community here in Tripura.
From border areas to other sensitive areas have been sealed and secured tightly centering the celebration. The local leaders are also leaving no space for any disturbance in the state.
Offers, prayers were delivered by the devotees across Mosques in Tripura.
Chief Minister Biplab Deb has extended greetings and best wishes to state’s people on Eid al-Adha.
