AGARTALA, Aug 22 (TIWN): Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other senior leaders including BJP National President Amit Shah on Wednesday distributed urns carrying ashes of late Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee to party presidents of all state units.

From Tripura BJP Secretary Pratima Bhowmik brought the urns. 

Vajpayee's ashes will be immersed in different rivers following condolence meetings even at the taluka level, the Bharatiya Janata Party tweeted.

On yesterday CM held a meeting with state party activists in this regard. 

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj were among those present during the ceremony.
