AGARTALA, Aug 21 (TIWN): 21 Assam Rifles conducted an informative workshop on Causes and Prevention of Malaria in conjunction with NGO ' Nexus Social Organisation' at lathaibari village Khowai District on 21 August 2018 .

A total of 147 locals attended the informative lecture, including ladies, children, youth and village elders. 

Tripura registers very high cases of Malaria especially during Monsoons, with many of them fatal. This gesture  of the Assam Rifles in bringing  awareness was lauded by one and all.
