AGARTALA, Aug 20 (TIWN): CPI-M's youth wing DYFI, DYFI / TYF have hit the ruling BJP Govt for cancelling the interview on Sunday without sending any notice to the candidates in advance.
Addressing in a press conference, DYFI Secretary Amal Chakraborty said, "Since 5 months of the BJP-IPFT Govt's formation, work-crisis is going on across the state. But most surprisingly, TPSC which is autonomous and independent body, it is also being attempted to be controlled by the Govt".
"On yesterday for two posts' interviews were scheduled to be held, candidates arrived in hat scheduled time, but sadly they found their interviews have been postponed for uncertain period of time. It's unacceptable that TPSC didn't bother to inform the candidates about that", he said.
"The candidates took coaching, bought books and from far way they came to appear for the test. When the Left Govt used to announce about recruitment in each cabinet either in small number or in big numbers but now the BJP-IPFT Govt has cancelled all job recruitments which can affect around 8000 job aspirants", Chakraborty told media.
"Where are the jobs ? There is no mention of Govt jobs at all. Apart from that no work is going on in rural areas. Where are those promises laid in the Vision Document before the Election ? Where is age relaxation ?", he asked further.
The DYFI leader also criticized the govt for the ongoing massive termination of various contractual employees.
