AGARTALA, Aug 18 (TIWN): Tribal Welfare Minister Mebar Jamatia has called tribal youths of Tripura to come forward to make a "New Tripura".

A workshop was conducted in Pragna Bhawan by Tribal Research and Cultural Institute, Govt of Tripura on Saturday where renowned personalities had addressed motivational speech to the tribal youths including Dr Vijaykumar Laxmikantrao Dharurkar.

Addressing media, Minister Mebar Jamtia said, “This workshop has been basically conducted to motivate the youths to make a New Tripura. The youths are diverted in other ways today and to give them a proper direction this workshop has been arranged”.

“They are the future of Tripura who can develop the state with peace & tranquility. This is the intention behind the workshop. This workshop will be helpful to gain the goal, I believe”, he said.

The workshop has been minimized due to the demise of Ex-PM Atala Biahri Vajpayee and all colouful presentations were cancelled in honour of the Ex-PM.
