AGARTALA, Aug 16 (TIWN): After the Govt had changed in Tripura, for the first time in Tripura's history Shyama Prasad Mukharjee got recognition as "martyr" during the new Chief Minister's speech at Assam Rifles ground.
Chief Minister Biplab Deb on Wednesday has recognized Mukharjee in martyr list, further criticizing the previous Left Govt.
Thanking troops and volunteers, remembering martyrs as Mangal Pandey, Bhagat Singh, Chandrashekar Azad, Khudiram Bose, Mahatma Gandhi, Netaji Subash Chandra Bose, Rishi Arobindo, Shyama Prasad Mukharjee and others, CM began his at the Assam Rifles Ground.
Shockingly CM's speech added a political propaganda when he said "25 years of Left regime frustrated people".
"Under the Govt at Centre along with 7 more Northeast states known as Asta-Laxmi we are determined to make a 'New Tripura'. After 25 years of Left Govt, people have given us responsibility to develop the state", CM added.
