AGARTALA, Aug 10 (TIWN): With a successful drive, Forest Dept has seized Rs. 7 lakhs woods at Sonamura on Thursday late night.
Getting informed by secret sources, Forest Dept of Sonamura have recovered huge numbers of woods, which were kept under the bamboo stocks on the bank of river Gomati.
The drive was also aided by BSF and Police. SDPO Kush Roy was present during the drive.
Various expensive woods were recovered in the raid. The worth of the recovered 213 numbers of woods will be at least Rs. 7 lakh.
At night 11 pm the recovered woods were brought to the Forest Office at there.
