AGARTALA, Aug 9 (TIWN): Tripura Congress Seva Dal has organized a Tiranga march on Thursday in various parts of the state.
Along with Seva Dal, Youth Congress activists also have taken part in this march.
In Agartala the rally was conducted at Barjala. This is a national programme which has been also observed by the Tripura Congress unit.
All India Congress Seva Dal Chief Organiser Lalji Desai on the background of the protest said, “It was Seva Dal, who made country’s Independence possible and fought back all communal stings. Seva Dal waved the Tiranga and downed British flag”.
Congress President Birjit Sinha said, “India is known for t its unity. There should be no politics of Hindu, Muslim or any cast0base, religion base politics. Seva Dal has raised slogan ‘Desh-Ka-Jhanda-Tiranga, Nehi Chalenga Doranga (BJP's flag)".
