AGARTALA, July 7 (TIWN): Tripura Health Minister Sudip Barman on Tuesday while addressing in a blood donation camp at Henry Derozio School in Agartala has expressed dissatisfaction over the existing Health Service of the state. Accepting the fact on 'lack of specialist doctors', Barman said, "Honestly speaking none of us are happy with the Health Service of the state. Even being the Minister I am not all all satisfied with the Health Service". "We lack specialist doctors and due to that many patients die without treatment. There is a scope for development and we are on the job of developing total Health Care system. It's really painful to see that due to lack of specialist doctors poor people here left over die"."It pains a lot that due to lack of specialist doctors people are bound to sell their homes and huts to save their children", Barman added. "Govt is committed to bring all kinds of specialist doctors here, to set up superspeciality hospital over here and we are in the process and hopefully within few months from now Health Service of the state will be able to undergo the first heart operations".
The Health Minister also asked public to have faith on the Govt and it will not leave any stone unturned in delivering proper Health Service in the State, to set up Super Speciality hospital over here.
"Health and Education both are our first priority as without them no society can develop", said Barman.
